A Message from Our President

As summer turns into fall, we all start to look toward preparing for the upcoming holiday season and begin to reflect on what we have accomplished so far this year.  I want to take this opportunity to thank each one of our partners for the trust that you have shown in us.  We are honored to be able to care for your properties and your residents.

At Quality Management Group (Quality), we have much to be thankful for so far this year and are proud of the 47% growth in the number of units we manage in 2019 alone.  On the heels of 80% growth in 2018, we are constantly evaluating and expanding the services we offer to ensure we help you maximize your assets.  Part of this evaluation is our annual customer value survey that many of you received in your inboxes.  This feedback helps us make sure that we are continuing to provide you with the high quality service you have come to expect.

In this edition of our newsletter, you will find information about our expanded capital management program, an update on new members of our team, and Quality in the News.  We hope you enjoy this edition and we look forward to continuing to serve you.

Quality Announces Expanded Capital Management Program

Enhanced Program Provides Improved Service to Partners  

Quality Management Group is proud to announce the launch of a new Capital Management Program overseen by our new Capital and Regional Facilities Manager, Ruben Castanon.  With this new position and Ruben’s extensive background in capital project oversight, are able to enhance the value of each capital project, ensuring that our partners are receiving the absolute best customer service and return on their investment.

Our new program has three key components:

– Competitive Bidding ensures high quality projects are delivered at the lowest possible price
– Enhanced oversight and detailed contracts for projects over $10,000 makes sure contractors adhere to bid specifications
– Annual and monthly reviews of capital and maintenance programs results in improved asset management through contract services, pricing reviews, and preventive maintenance.

By ensuring you have the information you need to make informed decisions about capital improvements on your properties, Quality Management Group demonstrates the commitment to managing your assets to improve the resident experience and maximize your returns.

Meet Our New Staff!

New Staff Supplements Partner Offerings

As Quality Management Group continues to grow, we are constantly working to ensure the staff serving you are industry leaders in their fields that provide you the best possible service.  We are thrilled to announce the following outstanding new professionals have joined Quality Management Group in 2019.

Linda Fregoso is our new in-house Human Resources Director and comes to us with nearly 30 years of experience in the Human Resources field, serving companies including AMR, Land O’ Lakes, and Coca-Cola.  She has already helped improve the offerings to our employees and is improving our internal processes and procedures.

Sharonda Rounds, Senior Community Manager, has been a tremendous asset in managing the transformation at the Vista Pointe community in Colton.  Her background and skills have helped improve the community for the residents and improved the value for the property owner.

Quality Management Group, an Ontario-based property manager, has expanded its operations to Northern California for the first time.



University Gardens and Normandy Apartments, two apartment complexes between downtown Riverside and UC Riverside, have been purchased by developer LaBarge Industries.



More affordable housing will be coming to Bloomington. The county is moving forward on the next phase of its mixed-use affordable housing community on Valley Boulevard – 98 apartments and a 7,700 square-foot community center.



A transformative partnership was recently celebrated at the Vista Pointe Apartment Community in Colton.
